How to play

Read your hand
Each round you’re dealt a hand and a trump suit is revealed. The Prophet beats everything; the Jester never wins a trick.
Call your tricks
Before the first card is played, predict exactly how many tricks you’ll win. Every bid at the table is out in the open.
Fulfill the prophecy
Hit your number exactly and you score — every trick too many or too few costs you. The best prophet wins the game.

The first Prophet played wins the trick — always. The Jester never wins one. Holding either turns a safe bid into a gamble, and a hopeless hand into a plan. Add a trump suit that changes every round, and no two rounds ever play alike.

Is Card Prophet free?
Yes. The classic game is free to play, with no ads. Card Prophet Plus adds extra game modes and little helpers, and an optional tip jar lets you support development.
Do I need an account?
No. You start as a guest the moment you open the app. Sign in with Apple or Google later, and your profile and progress come with you to your other devices.
Can I play offline?
Yes — every game against the computer seers works without an internet connection.
Can I play with friends?
Online tables are rolling out step by step: the host shares an invite link, and friends join the table with one tap.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad via the App Store, and Android via Google Play.
Which languages does the game speak?
English, German, Italian, Spanish and Dutch.
Is it suitable for kids?
Yes. The Apprentice mode is a gentler version for younger players, and there’s no free-text chat with strangers.
